Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock was left shaken after a 'crazed fan' attempted to 'attack' her during a recent night out with her friends.
The 'Shout Out To My Ex' singer was reportedly left in floods of tears after the incident which happened in London.
Leigh-Anne had been enjoying a night out before heading to a late-night restaurant with her friends. As the group sat in the restaurant, a man is said to have started insulting the girls before slapping Leigh-Anne in the face.
A witness told a national newspaper, "He kept saying, ‘if my girlfriend was here, you would both feel really intimidated'. Leigh-Anne’s friend wasn’t going to let it go. She kept saying ‘no I wouldn’t, no I wouldn’t’.
"And Leigh-Anne started going, ‘Maybe I would, maybe I would’. And he walked around the table and leant into her and gave her a clean slap on the face.”
It's understood that one of the 25-year-old's friends called the police but the man had already left the premises before they arrived.
A spokesperson for the Met police said: “Police were called on Monday, 28 November at around 04:50 hours by a woman who stated that a man had threatened to assault her and had assaulted another woman she was with.
“The suspect made off prior to police arrival. Officers conducted a search of the area and did not locate the suspect."
Leigh-Anne is yet to comment on the incident but she did upload a video of herself to Snapchat with a clear mark on her cheek.
