The pair ended their relationship mutually
One Direction’s Harry Styles has revealed he’s split up with his TV presenter girlfriend Caroline Flack by mutual decision.
On Twitter last night, the teenage star quashed media reports that he’d dumped Caroline, instead saying they’d ended things amicably.
Harry tweeted at 1am this morning: "Please know I didn't 'dump' Caroline. This was a mutual decision.”
He then added: "She is one of the kindest, sweetest people I know. Please respect that."
The pair’s brief relationship shocked many due to the 15-year age gap: Harry is 17 and Caroline is 32.
They met during the 2010 series of The X Factor when Harry was a contestant and Caroline was hosting the spin-off show The Xtra Factor.
One Direction completed their completely sold-out tour of the UK and Ireland last night with a show in Belfast.
